Dahlia Tubers Variety Pack

$20.00

Bring a little piece of the farm home with you.

Each spring, our farm burst into color with rows of stunning dahlias — the same blooms our preschoolers and elementary students pick, admire, and arrange all summer long. This year, we’re offering a limited selection of our favorite varieties as a special fundraiser to support our children’s programs and year-round animal care.

When you purchase tubers, you’re not just planting flowers — you’re helping care for goats, alpacas, chickens, and the joyful outdoor learning experiences that happen here every day.

Planting & Care Instructions

When to Plant
Plant tubers 4–6 inches deep once the soil has thawed and there is no chance of frost. (In Massachusetts, this is typically mid to late April.)

How to Plant
Place the tuber horizontally with the eye facing up. Cover with soil and water lightly.

Staking
Dahlias grow tall and bloom heavily. Once plants reach about 12 inches tall, stake them to prevent flopping.

Overwintering
Before the ground freezes in fall, carefully dig up your tuber clump. Allow it to dry, then store it in a cool, dry place (like a basement) for winter. Replant the following spring.

Thank you for helping our flowers — and our farm — flourish.
