Program Drop-off/Pick-up Policies

Good Pickin' staff may only release your child(ren) to an adult who is listed on the release authorization section of their Child Information Form. Please bring a photo ID with you every day to pick- up. Per our state license, Good Pickin’ Farm will not release children to anyone not authorized on the Child Information Form or who lacks a photo ID. It is your responsibility to inform the adults authorized to pick up that they will need to bring a photo ID with them in order to pick up your child(ren). After checking the photo ID, you must sign out your child(ren).

We cannot release children into their own custody or allow them to walk home, by law. No exceptions.

DROP-OFF PROGRAMS:

For programs where children are dropped off at the farm, drop-off and pick-up will be located at the School House. Please use the horseshoe driveway via the first entrance on the right when you turn onto Gould Rd*. If yours is the first car, please stop in front of the School House and wait in your car for staff to help your child(ren) in/out of your car. Please have your children wait in your car until you pull up to the front of the line in front of the School House.

*After you turn onto Gould Rd., the first driveway comes up fast! As soon as you see the big red barn up on the left, sloooooooow down so that you have time for the right turn into the first driveway. If you miss it, please turn around and go back to it, as the horseshoe driveway is a one-way driveway and the second driveway is exit only.

LATE PICK UP POLICY

Late pick-up fee is $5.00 per 5 minute increments. Example: Pick up time ends at 5:00 pm, if parent signs child out at 5:05 pm, a $5.00 late fee will apply. If a parent signs their child out at 5:28 pm, a $25.00 late fee will apply. Late fee payment is appreciated at pickup, but will be billed if parent does not have cash or checks on them.

All children need to be picked up at the time their program ends. For example - Fascination for Farming ends at 5pm and all children need to be picked up by 5pm. The School House ends at 2pm and all children need to be picked up by 2pm.

If a parent or authorized release contact person does not arrive or call within 5 minutes past the designated pick up time, staff will begin to call the authorized release contacts for the camper. If no authorized release contact can be reached within one hour past the designated pick up time, the Camp Director and Good Pickin’ Farm management may have to contact proper authorities.

While late pick up impacts Good Pickin' Staff and their responsibilities at the farm after Fascination for Farming, it also upsets the children. We know that sometimes a late pick up is out of your control, but please call us to let us know if you will be late so we can prepare your child(ren):
